Introducing the 2008 CNMS User Executive Committee

CNMS users voted for their first User Executive Committee (UEC) during an online election held between December 18, 2007, and January 7, 2008. The following candidates were elected to serve on the 2008 CNMS User Executive Committee with terms ending December 31, 2008.

The UEC conducts the regular business of the CNMS User Group and serves as the official voice of the CNMS user community to CNMS’s management and stakeholders. The UEC makes recommendations to CNMS management on matters affecting the user community such as operating policies and needs for facilities, infrastructure, and instrumentation. It also organizes the annual User Meeting. Users are encouraged to contact any member of the UEC with any suggestions for enhancing the benefits the community receives from CNMS.
